About Sunikai
A specialist importer, present in both Asia and Europe.
Sunikai imports Asian wood products for the European market: edge-glued panels, flooring, decking, cladding, wall panelling and skirting, in rubberwood, acacia, bamboo and paulownia.
Our organisation rests on a dual presence. In Asia, in direct contact with the mills: we know what each one is able to produce, at what price and within what lead time. In Europe, close to your constraints: standards, seasonality and the requirements of your own customers.
In between, we handle the most demanding stages of a direct import: selecting the mill, inspecting the goods before departure, logistics and customs formalities. You buy a product delivered to your premises, at a price known in advance.
We work with timber merchants, shopfitting manufacturers, furniture makers and building material distributors, on volumes ranging from a single container to a regular flow.
Why work with Sunikai
A presence in Asia and in Europe
A team on site in daily contact with the mills, and a commercial contact in Europe. Information flows directly, with no intermediary between you and the production line.
Quality control is included
Every container is inspected at the mill before loading and documented in a photo report. That is the stage at which a non-conformity can still be corrected at no additional cost.
Delivered prices, not ex-works prices
Our quotations are issued DAP: the figure quoted covers the goods delivered to your premises, allowing you to set your margin from the moment you order.
PEFC / FSC certifications
Certified supply chains available on our species, to meet your customers' requirements and European timber regulation.
Plantation species
Rubberwood at the end of its latex life, plantation acacia and short-cycle bamboo: renewable resources from plantations rather than primary forest.
Products matched to your requirement
The published dimensions are our standards. A different format, grade or finish falls within our sourcing activity and is studied case by case.
