sourcing · import · export
Our services
Three complementary disciplines: identifying the product and the supplier that match your requirement, verifying the compliance of each production run before shipment, and handling delivery to your premises.
01
Tailored sourcing
The starting point is your specification: species, dimensions, grade, annual volume and target budget. We identify the mill able to produce under those conditions and submit samples before any commitment.
Our presence in Asia is decisive: we visit the production sites, assess real capacity and actual lead times, and know which mill to entrust with each type of work.
Where a project falls outside our standard range, we develop the product with you, from the first sample through to production.
- Partner mill research and audit
- Samples submitted for approval before ordering
- Price and lead time negotiation
- Custom product development
02
Quality control
Quality control is the core of what we do. A non-conformity found on arrival in Europe is difficult to resolve: the goods have been paid for, the supplier is several thousand kilometres away and the matter takes weeks to settle, during which the stock remains tied up.
Inspection is therefore carried out upstream, at the mill and before the container is loaded: dimensions, moisture content, glue-line quality, visual sorting, packing and marking. A detailed photo report is issued to you, on the basis of which you approve the shipment.
This step is included in our prices and is not an option: it is the essential contribution of our involvement compared with buying direct.
- Inspection at the mill, before loading
- Detailed photo report
- Dimension and moisture checks
- Packing and marking verification
03
Import and DAP delivery
The DAP Incoterm (Delivered At Place) means the price quoted covers the goods delivered to your warehouse. You have no freight to estimate, no port charges to budget for and no forwarder to coordinate.
We handle the ocean booking, export documentation, customs clearance and final road haulage. Only import duties and taxes remain payable by you, in line with the DAP Incoterm.
You therefore have a firm price and a delivery date, and set your margin on a known basis from the moment you order.
- A single price, delivered to your warehouse
- Ocean booking and documentation
- Customs formalities
- Shipment tracking through to delivery
